Ondertussen zijn we 20 maart en kan ik al meerdere schoenen dragen. Heb al met de auto gereden maar de fiets is wel heel leuk.
Riding the bike gives me the outdoor air and the movement I have been missing.
Meanwhile I have been sewing and quilting.
The flowers I got from my neighbour they smell so well.

16 days later

Today I went back to the hospital to have my toes checked. Dr Mortier was pleased with the work he did. Three toes are still swollen and the instep as well. He said it might remain thick since I had a very severe trauma. My right foot does not fit in any of my present shoes. Also there is still a little drainage under the middle toe where the skin was ripped. I can step around but not long or the foot starts swelling and feels very uncomfortable.
But my big toe gives me good support and I can keep my balance well, so I see a very good progress every day.
However my brand new car is just sitting in the garage. Kenny put it in the back for now since he has to do all the shopping.

The kids played in the garden, dug dirt and we went to the garden depot. According to Nick you can see them grow.
While Amanda send me these pictures I was in the hospital being fixed up since my toes got ran over while I was crossing the street. I have been very lucky. Three toes were ripped from the back skin and the two biggest ones were twisted and must have about ten stitches each, but no pins, three fractures. The doctor believes they will stay in place as he anchored them. I was hospitalized a few days and am now depending on everybody to serve me. Which I must say they are doing very well.

On the 22nd january we bellydanced and then on Sunday I left to visit my American family and friends. First Torrance and visiting Banoi and the Nguyen's. Here Leanne playing. Then up North by car, saying hi to Ray eating as a vegetarian meal at the Steak Palce in Coalinga. Then on to Brentwood by 5 pm. In the next week we did the train museum in Frisco, museum of science in Berkeley and all kinds of more local activities. We celebrated Kaitlyn's first birthday. Time flew and I flew back.
9 uren tijdsverschil, slapen wanneer je dat niet wil en wakker liggen in 't midden van de dag maar ik zal dit nog moeten doen.

In Antwerpen gaan eten. Samourai was volzet dan gingen we maar naar de andere. Eten was heel verzorgd en lekker maar de show was wel minder spectaculair. TAK onze kok kon waarschijnlijk geen of weinig nederlands. Ik had een volledige vegetarische menu, zelfs zonder eieren. Ik heb het ook geen twee keer moeten vragen, dat was al tof.
