On the 26th of April, Hilde and Bart invited us to celebrate the birth of Mila. Their second child born on the 28th of March at 2.89 kg and 48 cm.
I was the driver for the day and took Rie, My Mom and Dad. It is their 17th grandchild. The weather was marginal so everything was set up in the warehouse behind the house in Temse. It was good to see everyone again.

visit to the fruit blossom on sunday 19th of april

Even as a child I heard stories about the pretty blossoms in the fields around Borgloon. This visit reminded me of the film "Johny Appleseed". Last year there was a serie on Flemish tv about a family cultivating fruit. So now they have all these pictures in the field honoring the actors that made their area popular.
There were giants and an old chapel with a statue of the pope because he came to visit and an underground crib with a relique and yes a rainbow painted on the wall. Typically a small brewery and the tavern in an old building with spiderwebs!!! the weather was sunny and the colors were vibrant.

On the 21st of March, I was invited with 3 other friends to join some ladies for a small private show. They decorated it nice and set the right mood with incense and all. It was lots of fun. Here are some pictures of us.
