Kaitlyn Paige

While we were still digesting all the Barack Obama's commotion, my first granddaughter decided to come and check it out herself, on the 21 january at 1.06 Californian time. All went well and Amanda was home the very next day. Kaitlyn looks cute and cuddly like little babies especially girls do. Nicky seems to be as proud as the parents with his little sister. Thanks to the family blog we also saw the grandpa showing off.

His dad and I had been living apart for nearly two years. In july 1980 I returned to live on 187th street but things were not all settled yet. Kenny was a few months old and Eddie wanted to defend his brother and me. LOOK at those hands, he flew the way it was supposed to be. He also raced through the house so his cape would float behind him.
My new husband watched the Superman movie sooooo many times and Eddie enjoyed it.

starting the New Year well

As active independent storeowner I am one of the volunteers at the New Year's drink near the local church, my grandniece is at my side. It started snowing here on the 3rd of january and a week later everything but the street was still covered with snow. The reception was in a tent, luckily I kept warm by serving hot chocolat and glühwein. We had a very cold week and I took some nice snowy pictures. It is so special seeing your everyday environment change under a cover of white and ice.
Today my dad came back home. His problem started because of the prostate glan and then he got bronchitis or so in the hospital. His delirium came probably from reactions to various medication.
